The terms that govern engagements with Trendsoftwares for custom trading software development.

Our Services

Trendsoftwares provides custom software development services for traders and trading businesses, including MT4/MT5 Expert Advisors, TradingView Pine Script, AmiBroker AFL, trading bots, broker API integrations, custom software, and related products. These Terms of Service govern any project you engage us for.

No Trading or Performance Guarantee

We build software to your specification and backtest it against historical data where applicable. We do not guarantee trading profits, strategy performance, or any specific financial outcome. Trading involves risk, past performance (including backtested performance) does not guarantee future results, and you are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes. Nothing on this website or in our communications constitutes financial or investment advice.

Engagement & Payment

  • Projects typically require a 50% advance payment to begin, with the balance due on delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Your project is scheduled to start the next business day after we receive your advance payment.
  • Cancellation and refunds: your advance is fully refundable if you instruct us not to start before the end of the day you paid it. Once that day ends and development begins, the advance is non-refundable.
  • Changing requirements: minor additions or refinements to an agreed specification can be incorporated at any point via a revised quote. A complete change of the project’s requirements must be flagged on the same day as payment, before development begins, so we can pause and requote — once development is underway, the advance is committed to the agreed specification.
  • Rush delivery, where available, may carry a surcharge over standard timelines.

Source Code & Intellectual Property

  • Source code is provided on request and handed over only after full payment has been received. Until then, or if not requested, you receive the compiled/executable version of the deliverable.
  • Any third-party or supporting libraries and DLLs used in a project are typically provided as compiled components only, under their own licensing terms.
  • Once source code (or the compiled deliverable) is delivered and paid for in full, you own the strategy/application logic we built for you, free of ongoing licensing obligations to us — subject to the third-party component terms above.
  • We do not reuse, resell, or share your strategy logic with any other client.

Confidentiality

We treat your strategy logic, trading rules, and any performance data you share with us as strictly confidential. A mutual NDA can be put in place on request before any project details are shared.

Post-Delivery Support

Every project includes a post-delivery support window for bug fixes and minor adjustments at no extra cost — the length depends on the type of project (see our FAQ for current details). Support beyond that window, and significant scope changes, are quoted separately.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trendsoftwares is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including trading losses — arising from the use of software we develop. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from an engagement with us will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
